IANAS promotes Inventing a Better Future Workshop in Brasilia The IANAS “Inventing a Better Future: A Strategy for Building Regional Capacities in Science and Technology Workshop” will be hosted by the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and will be held at the headquarters of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), in Brasília, during the period of July 21-23, 2010.
Launch of the Women for Science Working Group The Women for Science Working Group of the InterAmerican Network of Academies of Science (IANAS) was officially launched on June 11, 2010 in Rio de Janeiro in conjunction with the VII Meeting of the National Focal Points of the IANAS Science Education Programme.
