I have a Master of Nutrition, with emphasis on Health Promotion and Prevention of Diseases Associated with Nutrition (2011-2013) and a Diploma of Food Marketing (2011), both from the Institute of Nutrition and Food Technology (INTA), University of Chile. I have a bachelor's degree of Nutrition at the University of San José, Costa Rica. I am a Nutritionist with 14 years of professional experience in various areas. At first my professional practice I was nutritionist Costa Rican Social Security, both the primary care level and the third level (2002-2006). In addition I have developed in the private sector: nutritional consultation and medical visit and marketing with pharmaceutical companies such as Mead Johnson Nutrition and Novartis Oncology (2006- 2008). I worked in the Ministry of Health of Costa Rica in the formulation and implementation of the Policy and Plans National Food and Nutritional Security (2009-2011). I was a professor of public health at the School of Nutrition at the University of San Jose (2009-2011). I was coordinator of a research project (Cohort Maternal - Chilean Children), at INTA (2014-2015). Currently, I am nutritional private consulting both clinical and public health area (2015-to the date). I have a commitment as Nutritionist, toward the health of the population. I am in favor of health institutions and cost effective strategies for a comprehensive approach to the promotion, prevention and treatment of food and nutrition and health problems.
