Nequesha Dalrymple is currently an Instructor in the department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine where she teaches in the Human Nutrition & Dietetics and Nutritional Sciences degree programme. She has also lectured at the University of the Southern Caribbean in the Family and Consumer Sciences Department. She holds a BSc. in Human Ecology (Nutrition and Dietetics) (2002) from UWI St. Augustine and an MSc. in Nutrition (2006) from the Tropical Metabolism Research Unit (TMRU), Faculty of Medical Sciences, UWI Mona, and also worked as a research assistant at the TMRU.
Ms. Dalrymple is a registered Nutritionist with the Nutritionists and Dietitians Board of the Council of Professions related to Medicine, Trinidad and Tobago; and is also a member of the Caribbean Association of Nutritionists and Dietitians (CANDi); the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Nutritionists and Dietitians (TTANDi) and the Trinidad and Tobago Family Planning Association. She has published in several international peer-review journals including West Indian Medical Journal (WIMJ), FASEB (Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology), Public Health Nutrition and in the Handbook of Anthropometry.
She is currently pursuing her PhD in Nutrition focusing on Nutrition, Physical Activity and Quality of Life in Cancer Survivors.
